Safety

• Do not subject thekeyboard to knocks andblows.

• Do not place thekeyboard where there is arisk that it may fall into water or

other liquids.

• Do not plug in or unplug theUSB cable with wethands.

• Do not place thekeyboard close to astrong heat source or expose it to

direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

• Never attempt to tamper with, repair or modify thekeyboard in anyway.

Thebuilt-in battery cannot be replaced.

• Use only theincluded USB cable for charging thekeyboard.

Establishing aBluetooth connection with acomputer,

tablet or mobilephone

Troubleshootingguide

Thekeyboard

won’t turnon.

Thebattery in thekeyboard might be discharged, charge

thebattery.

Thekeyboard

doesn’twork.

• Make sure that aBluetooth connection has been

properly established. Referto theEstablishing

aBluetooth connection... sectionabove.

• Make sure that no other wireless devices are

interfering with thewireless keyboard connection.

• If thedevice that you are attempting to connect

thekeyboard to is already connected to another

Bluetooth device, this may impair or prevent

thekeyboard from pairing with thedevice.

Disconnect theother (disrupting) wireless device.

Certain special

character keys

do notwork.

• If any of thekeys do not seem to work when using

thekeyboard, it could mean that thesettings in your

smartphone or tablet are not correctlyset. Checkthat

thelanguage setting is correct,e.g. English UK.

Samsung

• Thekeyboard language settings can be found under

Settings/My Device/Language and input language.

Clickon thecog symbol to theright of Samsung

Keyboard/Input language.

iPhone/iPad

• Keyboard language settings are listed under Settings/

General/Keyboard/Keyboard/. Thecurrent language

setting will be displayed. Clickon thedesired

language to change.

Responsible disposal

1. Micro-USB charger port connection

2. [ OFF/ON ] Power switch

3. LED indicator. Shines red while thebattery is charging and goes out when

thebattery is fully charged.

4. LED indicator. Flashes blue when thekeyboard is detectable for other

Bluetooth devices.

5. LED indicator. Shines blue when the[ Caps Lock ] button is pressed.

Operating instructions

Charging

1. Connect theUSB cable to acomputer or other USB charging device.

Thered LED indicator (3) will come on to show that charging is in progress.

Note: Thekeyboard should be charged for at least 4 hours before it is used

for thefirst time and even when it is used again after along period of disuse.

2. When theLED indicator goes out, thekeyboard is fully charged.

1. Set the [ OFF/ON ] switch (2) on thekeyboard

to theON position.

5. Apassword will now appear on

your device. Writethepassword on

thekeyboard and press [ ENTER ].

Thetwo devices will now connect (pair)

with eachother.

2. TheLED Bluetooth connection indicator (4)

flashes blue to indicate that thekeyboard is

detectable for other devices (hold down [ Fn ]

and [ F1 ] simultaneously for one second if

theLED indicator does not flash to indicate that

thekeyboard is detectable).

6. Thedevices are now paired.

3. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice you intend to connect to thekeyboard.

Referto theinstruction manual of your device for further clarification if you

are unsure.

4. Thekeyboard will now appear on your device as “Bluetoothv3.0 Keyboard”,

selectit.

Note:

• Thekeyboard can only be paired with one device at atime.

• If, for example, you have thekeyboard paired with your iPad and then decide

to pair it with your mobile phone or computer instead, you can’t just reactivate

theprevious connection to youriPad. Youwill have to delete thekeyboard

(Bluetoothv3.0 Keyboard) from thelist of Bluetooth devices connected to

your iPad and then carry out anew Bluetooth device search to re-establish

theconnection.

• Thekeyboard will automatically go into sleep mode after 8 min of inactivity in

order to save battery life. Thekeyboard will reactivate as soon as any key is

pressed. It will then take about 10 sec* before theconnection is re-established

between thekeyboard and your device.

Note: Longer periods of inactivity may also cause your device’s Bluetooth

function to go into sleep mode. It can then take about 20–120 sec* before

theconnection is re-established between thekeyboard and your device.

*Time varies between different Bluetooth chips.

Care and maintenance

Wipe thekeyboard clean with adry cloth as and when required.

This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed

of with general household waste. This applies throughout

theentire EU. In order to prevent any harm to theenvironment or

health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct

must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can be

disposed of in aresponsible manner. When recycling your

product, take it to your local collection facility or contact

theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is

disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
